The original card index (from 1977-78) has the feel of a collection of evidence- perhaps from a local government or police enquiry. It was exhibited in 1979 in the 2nd Tolly Cobbold / Eastern Arts Association Exhibition which toured the country.

However, it probably wouldn't survive being handled in more exhibitions and so, for the 2017 exhibition at Upfront Gallery, my son Gabriel Stones, himself an artist (and roughly the same age as I was when I made the work) has created a short (8 minutes) film of himself looking through the cards. His own enquiry into a cold case!
