This year the judges had a particularly difficult task with over 2200 entries submitted. The selected work features 90 pieces from over 70 of the most talented artists, who were born, live, or have studied in one of the historical counties of the NORTH OF ENGLAND, and gives a particularly exciting insight into contemporary Northern Art.

From the hyperreal to the purely abstract, the exhibition celebrates paintings, sculpture, prints and drawings by artists at all stages of their career, and from all corners of the North.
