I made this drawing over winter 20/21 specifically for 'The Industrial Suite' by Jacky Naylor.

'The Industrial Suite' is the new album from jazz pianist, composer and arranger Jacky Naylor - commissioned from him by Lancaster Jazz Festival.

The suite is about the textile mills and factories in the North of England - a big part of not only Jacky's family history, but the history of many other Northern families.

My drawing is based on Saltaire - the Yorkshire village built in 1851 by the industrialist Sir Titus Salt.
